When I first saw this concealer on e.l.f’s Instagram post, I knew I had to do a review on it. I love concealers because it really helps to open up and brighten my complexion. The packaging is classic, I adore the black lid and the text font used on the bottle. The concealer is full-coverage, 16-hour long-wearing concealer featuring a large doe foot applicator to conceal, correct, contour and highlight for flawless skin. The concealer is available in 19 shades and retails at £5 each http://bit.ly/elfconcealer
I bought the colour ‘Light Beige’ due to my yellow/golden undertones. I love using this concealer with The Ordinary foundation. Hands down, this is my favourite foundation of all time, I can’t recommend it enough http://bit.ly/Theordinarycollection. It’s lightweight and medium coverage, great for everyday wear.
The creamy formula is thick, so you just need to apply a small amount. I would recommend you really blend the concealer out as quickly as possible before it sets since it dries incredibly fast. I used a beauty blender to blend it out. This concealer can be rather unforgiving to dry under eye area or creasing, I would recommend you to use an eye cream before using this concealer and only apply a small amount. The before photo on the right is me having no foundation and concealer on. The after photo on the left, I’ve used The Ordinary foundation and using e.l.f concealer. Can you see the instant brighten it does for my skin? It gives me the airbrush smooth skin look.
This is the final look with contouring, blush, and highlight as well. If you have dark circles and discolouration under your eyes, honestly give this concealer a try. For £5 it’s a complete steal, you can’t go wrong for a long lasting coverage concealer. However, due to the nature of this concealer being very matte so if you have dry skin, you might not enjoy this product as much. I have oily/combination skin and it works like magic on my skin. Lastly, this e.l.f concealer is animal cruelty-free and vegan!
Thank you so much for stopping by, see you lovelies soon on my next blog.
